At&t Park in San Francisco

If you enjoy a good baseball game, then the AT&T Park should be on your list of places to visit when you are in San Francisco. And even if you don’t usually watch baseball, you should still visit this monument for its beautiful architecture.

Located on the east side of San Francisco, the AT&T Park houses  the San Francisco Giants team, which one of the oldest and most renowned teams in the baseball league.

The magnificent stadium stands on the San Francisco Bay, and is a place you should not miss on your visit. You can schedule your visit for a date when a game is scheduled. This way you can as well enjoy the game in person. If its a day game you can always head to China Town after the game for some great food.

History of At&t Park

Originally called the Pacific Bell Park and SBC Park (2000-2003, 2004-2006 respectively). This way you are not caught off guard if the locals call it by any of its old names.

The stadium has stood for just over 18 years now; but it had hosted some of the most historic baseball games in recent times.

Even if you are not able to see a game, the stadium is still worth touring to explore the beauty of the stadium and have access to other parts of the stadium where you get to learn more about the history of the stadium.

How to get to At&t Park

It should also be noted that it would be easier to take public transportation to the ball park as there are limited parking spaces available around the stadium, and they are quite expensive. There are better options farther away from the park, if you insist on driving there. Make sure you get there early enough before the game.
